An academy environment, by the numbers
A genuine academy environment
The EPAC High Performance Academy is a 6-month development programme, running January to June, for ambitious players seeking a genuine academy environment and a higher standard of coaching. It is built around the principles used inside professional academies, and focuses on long-term individual development rather than short-term results.
Every player is developed through structured technical and tactical coaching, attacking and defensive practice, athletic development, objective performance analysis and individual feedback, held to professional standards of effort, attitude and accountability.
What every academy player receives
Official Academy training kit
Every selected player is issued the official EPAC High Performance Academy training kit.
PlayerData GPS vest & pod
Professional GPS tracking worn in every session, with performance reports.
Mid & end development reviews
Individual development reviews at the midpoint and end of the programme.
Athletic development & testing
A structured athletic programme, with testing before and after the six months.
Structured development curriculum
A planned technical and tactical curriculum across the full programme.
Specialist goalkeeper coaching
Goalkeepers follow a specialist programme alongside team practices.
Online development sessions
Physical, psychological and Q&A sessions on scheduled non-training weeks.
Presentation evening
An end-of-programme player and parent presentation evening.
Every session follows the same professional model
Ten minutes of athletic development, forty minutes of attacking practice and forty minutes of defensive practice. Players rotate between the attacking and defensive blocks, so every player completes both areas every week.
- Built on the three key moments: in possession, out of possession and transition
- Maximum ball contact and repetition in every practice
- Decision making and tactical understanding under realistic pressure
- Goalkeepers follow a specialist programme, integrated into team practices

A route into EPAC Club
Outstanding academy players may be invited to represent EPAC Club during the programme. An academy place does not guarantee selection. It is earned on performance, attitude, commitment, positional need and readiness to represent EPAC.
- Friendly and showcase fixtures
- Tournament competition
- Training experiences and talent identification events
- Club fixtures always take priority if dates clash
