The EPAC Academy is designed to provide players with a structured, consistent and progressive development environment throughout the season.
Over 20 weeks, players will experience the same standards, coaching detail, training methodology and professional environment used within leading English Premier League and Football League academy systems.

Player Eligibility
The EPAC Academy is designed for ambitious competitive players from across the Placer County and Sacramento regions who are committed to their long term development and aspire to train within a professional academy environment.
All players must register and attend the complimentary trial event on July 19th to be considered for selection into the programme.
Selection will be based on:

Academy Structure
The EPAC Academy is designed to provide long term player development through a structured and progressive training programme.
Each programme includes:
• 19 High Performance Training Sessions
• 1 Competitive Games & Presentation Event
Players will receive individual development reviews during and at the conclusion of the programme, providing clear feedback and development priorities across:
• Technical
• Tactical
• Psychological
• Social
This process ensures players and parents receive objective feedback, measurable progress updates and ongoing developmental guidance.
Session Methodology
Within each session, players train within their specialist positional unit, following a structured curriculum designed to develop the technical, tactical and positional demands of their role within the game.

Weekly Training Schedule
Sundays
Training Group ONE:
U9 & U10 - 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM
Training Group TWO:
U11 & U12 - 5:15 - 6:30 PM
Training Group THREE:
U13 & U14 - 6:35 - 7:45 PM
Training Group FOUR:
U15 & U16 - 7:45 PM to 9:00 PM
Players will be grouped appropriately based on age, level and overall developmental suitability. Within each training group, players will then be selected and placed into their specialist positional units.
Training Environment
Each Academy training group is divided into three specialist positional units, with players training separately in their specific position group for the majority of each session:
• Attacking Unit
• Defending Unit
• Goalkeeping Unit
Sessions begin with an Athletic Performance component, focusing on speed, agility, strength and movement mechanics, before progressing into position-specific technical and tactical training. Players then come together for realistic attack vs defence practices and game-related scenarios, allowing them to apply their learning against other specialist units.

EPAC FC Selection Opportunity
Players who consistently perform at a high level within the Academy may be selected to represent EPAC FC in fixtures, tournaments, showcase events and the annual EPAC UK Tour Programme.
Selection is based on performance, attitude, commitment and overall development throughout the programme.
Selected players may have opportunities to:
• Represent EPAC FC In Competitive Fixtures & Tournaments
• Participate In Regional & National Showcase Events
• Be Considered For The Annual EPAC UK Tour Programme
• Train & Compete Alongside Other High Performing Players
• Experience Higher Levels Of Competition & Challenge
Squads will be selected based on the competition format and age group requirements, ensuring an appropriate and realistic playing environment for all players.
PlayerData Performance Tracking
EPAC Academy players will train using professional GPS performance tracking technology powered by PLAYERDATA.
The system measures key physical performance metrics, including:
• Total Distance Covered
• Sprint Distance & Top Speed
• Accelerations & Decelerations
• Overall Workload & Work Rate
This data enables coaches to monitor player development, provide more individualised feedback and create a professional academy environment aligned with elite football standards.
Players and parents will gain valuable insight into performance, progress and development throughout the programme.
